Freeskiing

Beijing 2022 — in studio with Jo Griggs
From a world freeski tour to covering some of the world's most important sporting events.

On set, behind the scenes
I want to keep shining a light on the independent strength of women in sport, and to elevate the role sport plays in community.
As an emerging journalist I focus on the evolution of team sport and on individual performance, through lifestyle sport and roles across elite sport. I am an ambassador for Protect Our Winters.
I believe sport drives connection, that through connection we reshape community, and that through community we understand what the surfaces and environments sport is played on give back to nature, through a connection to Country.
The best sport comes from good people working well together: a synergy between Country, people and movement. Strong collaboration, and ideas we are genuinely proud to put into the world.

Sport drives connection. Through connection we reshape community. Through community we understand Country.

Freeskier portrait
Miff Rennie is a proud Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta woman and a descendant of the Stolen Generations. Sport has shaped and reshaped her life, and so has the community in which that sport was played. As a professional skier she relied on her family and her community to take part, which meant being brave about her goals, understanding how to reach them, and bringing her people with her.
